Patients should order their medication 48 hours in advance either by telephoning or leaving a note at reception before 12 noon.
Alternatively you can now order online by following the link at the top of this page and completing a simple registration. Before using this online service for the first time, please contact the Surgery and we will be happy to help you with your registration. We will then send you an email detailing all your current repeat medication. This will ensure that you can safely order the correct dosage of your regular medication. Please feel free to contact Mrs Bernadine Bradley, at the telephone number above, if you need help or advice regarding any aspect of using our new website. Thank you.
Prescriptions ordered after 12 noon will be available for collection after 48 hours
Patients on the Repeat Dispensing Scheme can go directly to the pharmacy for collection of their medication. The pharmacist will inform the patient when their script has expired. Patients will then need to make an appointment with the GP for reauthorisation.
Minor Ailments Scheme
Please check out our 'Minor Illness' page (see right hand side of this screen). Your local pharmacist can give advice and issue certain medications without a GP prescription.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow 48 hours for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
